More about the project
This completely derelict two-bedroom mid terrace was purchased at auction by BeachLife, with the plan to create a striking, cotemporary three bedroom home.
The property required an extensive remodel and clever planning by our interior designer to create the new three bedroom layout, but still delivering an open plan kitchen, dining and living space.
The key design trick is the stunning, floating oak and glass staircase. By seeing through the floating treads to the back of the property from the entrance, the feeling of space is enhanced, making the new three bedroom home feel larger than the old two bed, but using the same amount of footprint.
The contemporary kitchen and new bathroom complete the interior renovation, delivering an exceptional three bed home.
The connection to the garden is achieved by the super high spec Crittal style bifold. It can be the smaller property renovations deliver the most striking transformations – this is certainly a good example.
